ETFE RM MICRO PELLET

Rotational molding

–THE SUPERIOR MATERIAL CHOICE FOR ETFE WIRE AND CABLE INSULATION

Due to increasing requests from ETFE roto lining companies, we have successfully developed the DASFLON ETFE RM MICRO PELLET to overcome the disadvantages of using powder materials for rolling.

WHAT IS DASFLON ETFE RM MICRO PELLET?

DASFLON ETFE RM MICRO PELLET is very tiny version of normal ETFE pellet with improved characteristics.
They are in the form of translucent cylindrical pellet with dia 0.5mm+/- sizes.

Conventional
ETFE roto powder
  • Irregular shaped particle

  • Wide particle distribution

  • Powder dust

  • Less stable melting

  • Loss of materials

  • Higher melting

DASFLON™
ETFE micro pellet
  • Uniform particle-shaped

  • Narrow particle size distribution

  • Dust-free / High flowability

  • Stable, consistent melting

  • Material saving / High yield

  • Improved thermal efficiency

More advantages compare to conventional ETFE powder
  • Dust-Free Processing

  • Significant cost savings

  • Superior Handling & Logistics

  • Excellent Free-Flowing Properties

  • Enhanced Surface Finish

  • Ready-to-Use (RTU) Colored Pellets

  • Specialized functional grades available, such as antistatic.

DASFLON™ ETFE RM is engineered from a specialized, modified ETFE polymer specifically developed for high-performance roto lining applications.
Unlike conventional ETFE materials, DASFLON™ ETFE RM features a lower melting point of 225°C (compared to the standard 260°C). This unique thermal profile provides several critical advantages over traditional ETFE powders:
  • Superior Processability: The lower melting point allows for faster cycle times and reduced energy consumption.

  • Enhanced Thermal Stability: Minimized risk of thermal degradation during the lining process.

  • Improved Flow & Leveling: Optimized for uniform wall thickness and smooth internal surfaces in complex roto-lined geometries.
